I wanted to take this opportunity on behalf of myself, my wife Lisa and the rest of the family to give you our heartfelt thanks for your excellent upgrade advice and staging ideas prior to the sale of my mother’s home in Thousand Oaks. There hadn’t been very much work done on the property for the last 40 years but you were a breath of fresh air that turned that house into a new home!
When we were first approached by our realtor Chris McClintock from Dilbeck Realty about wanting to bring you in as a consultant, I admit I was wary, only knowing what condition the house was already in and facing a tight budget to bring it up to par to place it on the market. After we all met and had a walkthrough to give you an opportunity to see where we could make changes, the list seemed rather long and somewhat daunting. However, we were, and still are, very pleased how those simple paper suggestions turned the house into an exciting reality.
Not only was your insight and vision valuable but, your collection of honest, reliable and friendly trades people, made the whole project come to fruition in an efficient and timely manner – and on budget as well! The flooring, painting, and countertop installations went extremely fast and looked fantastic. When your own staging crew arrived to set up the home with the furnishings you envisioned, everyone in the family as well as myself were amazed at the transformation. The compliments continued to pour in as well from realtors and prospective buyers who attended the open house.
Needless to say, the home sold for our asking price and closed within 35 days from when this challenge began. I am positive that without your active participation and hard work, we would still be wondering what we might do to enliven the property to entice any buyers at all, much less achieve our sought after pricing. I would whole heartedly suggest that anyone who is considering of selling their home seek out Ventura County Home Staging as one of their first priorities to help define a new vision for a property that will defintely set if far above the competition and to excite any buyer into making that home their own!
